The International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE) is a Cambridge ESOL exam developed in partnership with ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the largest and fastest-growing international accountancy body. The exam is set at levels B2 and C1 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (equivalent in level to the Cambridge First Certificate in English and Certificate in Advanced English) and assesses language skills in a financial context. ICFE is an ideal qualification for anyone thinking of, or already pursuing, a career in accountancy or finance. For the finance professional who already has an established and successful career, it can be used to validate their English language skills in a financial context. Our ICFE preparation course lasts 198 academic hours and is open to students at Upper Intermediate level and above. On the course you will:

A key feature of the course is that exam tasks are introduced gradually, giving training in exam strategies, the format of different tasks and guided practice in successful task completion including analysis of sample answers. IPT also includes a number of practice tests in all papers with feedback and guidance by staff with many years of experience in teaching exam preparation courses and examining for Cambridge ESOL.
