Initial testing: Before each training course students are thoroughly tested in the key written skills (grammar, comprehension and vocabulary), are interviewed by a Native speaking EFL teacher to determine their current level of English, and are given recommendations on course length and focus. IPT arranges comprehensive testing schedules at client offices and testing is carried out free of charge for our clients. Progress Testing: Students are regularly tested by their tutor during the course of study. Formal tests are carried out at the end of each 60 hour study block. Formal Examination: After each 120 hours students sit a formal examination. A report card is then prepared giving numeric indications of progress achieved in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Vocabulary and Grammar together with an overall grade and commentary.
