IPT is pleased to announce the launch of a new qualification programme for HR employees. CPP is CIPD qualification programme aimed at more junior HR operatives working within organizations. CPP (Certificate in Personnel Practice) is a practical, skills-based study program, ideal for junior HR practitioners, or for any level of operational or line management that wishes to develop their HR skills and knowledge.

The CIPD CPP is organized into four modules and includes: 

  • How organisations plan for their human resource needs

  • How HR fits in with the strategic development of the business

  • How to interview applicants for positions within your business

  • How to design and deliver training programs

  • How to manage performance and conduct appraisal interviews

  • How to handle disciplinary matters 

 
In addition, a Personal Development and Study Skills module supports employees in developing report writing, time management and other key management skills.

CPP combines academic and practical work, with each module designed to introduce and develop management tools and skills, demonstrating practical applications to the workplace.

The course will start in October. Graduating students will receive their CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice, a formal Certificate from the University of Portsmouth and will become Associate Members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
